Job description

Tasks required:

  • Research and identify leads for new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets

  • Generate leads through different channels

  • Identify business prospects and decision-makers in target markets

  • Meet with customers to present the products of our clients and close deals

  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients

  • Reach out to prospects and clients to provide updates and send follow-ups via email

  • Maintain Business Development database via CRM

  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these

  • Work with the business development team in order to implement strategic plans of the company

  • Coordinate with the HR /Recruitment team regarding endorsement of candidates, requirement/vacancy updates, client appointments, etc.

  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as Business Development Manager

  • Excellent presentation skills for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates

  • Experience in B2B sales

  • Experience in lead generation

  • Knowledge with LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion and presentation skills

  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and Zoom

  • Knowledge with ClickUp is a plus

  • Must have an upbeat personality and can keep conversations flowing with ease

  • Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
