About the company we're hiring for currently:

The client company is an organization and company that works to make an impact, it is a company based in Sweden with developers in Ukraine, the Philippines (Manila and Visaya), Indonesia (Padang and PM in Jakarta), and Pakistan (Karachi, Lahore).

It revolutionizes and develops the interpreting and language industry. Through a fully automated interpreting process, handling and matching of assignments is faster and more accurate.

Its end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities that communicate with refugees and other people in need.

Position: Senior Java Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Java.

Work with legacy systems using GlassFish/WildFly.

Develop microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java, with solid knowledge of object-oriented programming.

Experience with GlassFish or WildFly application servers.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and other Spring modules.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and implementation.

Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
