Job Title: Low Code Developer / Next.js Developer
Location: Remote, South Africa
Salary Range: R45 000 -65 000 pm
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Low Code Developer and/or Next.js Developer to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on developing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications using low-code platforms such as n8n, Make (formerly Integromat), Zapier, and/or Flutter Flow, along with web applications using Next.js.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement integrations, automate workflows, and build responsive front-end solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement low-code solutions using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, and/or Flutter Flow.
- Build, maintain, and optimize web applications using Next.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Create efficient automation workflows and integrations to improve business processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices and standards.
- Develop APIs and manage back-end services to integrate with low-code solutions and Next.js applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in low-code platforms and front-end technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Provide technical documentation and training to team members when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
For Low Code Development:
- Experience with one or more low-code platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier, or Flutter Flow).
- Strong understanding of process automation and API integrations.
- Familiarity with webhooks, REST APIs, and HTTP methods.
- Experience with data management, including JSON, CSV, and database integrations.
- Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on workflow solutions.
- Good grasp of security, privacy, and performance considerations in automation workflows.
For Next.js Development:
- Proficiency in Next.js framework for building server-side rendered web applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or others.
- Understanding of version control tools like Git.
General Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software development or low-code development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
