Senior Java Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java or .NET
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Participate in OnCall rotations for production deployments and operations support
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, SW Engineers, and Frontend Developers
• Contribute actively to Scrum ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives, refinements)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Solid experience with Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes is a plus)
• Comfortable working in a DevOps culture (build, deploy, monitor, operate)
• Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed system principles
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively in a remote, international team
• Willingness to take OnCall duties during deployment windows and incidents
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

• Frontend knowledge (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Azure Monitor, Prometheus)
• Exposure to Agile environments and understanding of Scrum roles and artifacts
• Previous experience in international or distributed teams, especially with European clients
• Domain knowledge in the Automotive sector (e.g., vehicle data, OEM processes, connected services)
