Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Programmer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend coding, designing user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases for website functionality, and coding for mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture by using best practices.
- Develop and maintain web applications from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in various programming languages.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Recommend and execute improvements to current processes.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
- Write technical documentation.
- Work alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- See through a project from conception to finished product.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a full stack developer role.
- Proficiency in fundamental frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces.
- Familiarity with software engineering tools, agile methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs.
