ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Related
  • Managers would be leading one or multiple FRM projects
  • Thorough understanding of the credit market and operational risk management as per Basel III guidelines
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and emerging areas of risk Hands-on experience in Credit Policy processes, Credit Scoring, Credit Risk Modeling, regulatory requirements and preferably should have played a role in defining them
  • Understanding of Financial Modeling and Econometrics
  • Ability to take an integrated approach to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
 
People Related
  • Plays the role of performance managers for junior staff
  • Actively involved in training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff Business Development
  • Perform business development – lead generation till closure
  • Proactively does sales oriented reporting during projects. These would include identifying possible business opportunities for various practices within KPMG
  • Thought Leadership Contribute to solution development
  • Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
  • Participate in practice initiatives and at times lead such initiatives such as knowledge management or thought leadership
Additional Information
THE INDIVIDUAL
  • Prior experiences in managing and motivating the team in risk related areas, with clear leadership in one of the risk areas, viz., credit, market/treasury, operational, commodity risks  
  • Strong ability to map client business requirements and convert the same to a viable business proposition
  • Strong communication skills with client facing experience
  • Lead by example and motivate the team; Good attitude and be a part of team player
  • Possesses extensive experience in at least one of the key solutions of FRM
  • Prior experience in client facing / account management roles
  • Exposure to business development in consulting (Pre-sales support, proposals, RFP responses)
  • Have experience in risk consulting at a project manager/ project lead level role
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistent display of leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours. Ability to work well in teams
  • Willingness to travel within anywhere India or abroad for continuous long periods of time
  • Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example
 
QUALIFICATION
  • Postgraduate with 6 - 9 years of experience in Banks, Rating Agencies, Consulting Firms, Corporate Treasury, Analytical Software Companies
  • People with CFA/ FRM degrees will be preferred
  • Knowledge of risk management system (SAS, Oracle, SPSS etc) and language (R, Python, Java, C++ etc) will carry additional weightages

Masters - Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
