Job description

Job Description of RF Engineer

Responsible for prelaunch optimization of LTE sites using drive tests and parameter audits.
Posts launch KPI analysis.
Coordinating a cross-functional team of data collectors, OSS and RF Engineers.

Responsibilities:

Independently perform RF Optimization activities.
Optimize a WCDMA/LTE (3G/4G) network to troubleshoot and improve KPIs.
Understanding of Radio Resource Management functionalities(e.g. Admission Controls, Handover control, Capacity management, etc.).
Defining and Monitoring Parameter Consistency check.
Understanding the Call Flow with Post Processing Skills and Layer 3 Analysis.
Carry out optimization techniques (proper antenna selection for optimal horizontal/vertical performance, mechanical/electrical tilting, appropriate transmit power setting, antenna clearance, neighbour list analysis, etc.) for optimal site/cluster performance.
Post-integration ALU alarm reporting and analysis through SAM support.
Generate RF engineering-related reports in Excel and PowerPoint as required
Experience on Ericsson and ALU counters, Defining and Monitoring LTE/VOLTE KPIs reports on the network.
Support goals and objectives of the company and the customer by meeting deadlines and reaching Project goals. Essential Qualification and Skills:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in EC, Telecommunication with a minimum 70% score, or equivalent required.
An experience of 2-3 years in the related field is required.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in tools like Actix, Map info, and Parameter audit using WIPS, Quantum, RMAP and Atoll.
The practice of OSS (SAM/OSS-RC/) and BO/ENIQ/NPO and Good communication skills.
