Job Description of RF Design & Planning Engineer:
Responsible for RF Planning & Design.
Responsibilities:
- RF Indoor/Outdoor Planning and Design with industry-standard tools
- Simulation of Link budget, coverage, interference, neighbour lists, PCI planning, site power/RF shaping/repeater configuration planning, antenna selection and co-location analysis, and population/erlang-based traffic planning.
- Cell sites selection for coverage and capacity using Atoll Planet, ASSET, RAN Plan etc.
- Frequency planning & PCI Planning.
- Customer premises survey and possible loss identification.
Essential Qualification and skills:
• Master's or bachelor’s degree in EC, Telecommunication, or equivalent required with a minimum 70% score.
• An experience of greater than two years in a related field is required.
• Proficient in industry standard tools like Atoll, Planet, ASSET, RAN Plan etc., is an advantage.
• Should be a team player and should step up whenever required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with being a Quick learner.
• Proficient with LTE & 5G network architecture and functionalities.
• Flexible to work long hours, including weekends, and ready to work in night shift
• Ready to work on Indian/US holidays, including weekends based on the Project requirement
• Night shift allowance as per company policy will be provided.
