Quora’s mission is to grow and share the world’s knowledge. To do so, we have two knowledge sharing products:
Quora: a global knowledge sharing platform with over 400M monthly unique visitors, bringing people together to share insights on various topics and providing a unique platform to learn and connect with others.
Poe: a platform providing millions of global users with one place to chat, explore and build with a wide variety of AI language models (bots), including GPT5, Claude 4.1, Grok 4, Veo 3 and more. As AI capabilities rapidly advance, Poe provides a single platform to instantly integrate and utilize these new models.
This role will be supporting teams across both Quora and Poe.
The People Team at Quora is responsible for supporting the company in pursuit of our mission. You’ll be a trusted partner and advisor to our teams and will also drive strategic companywide programs including learning and development initiatives. You will have a highlevel of impact through building relationships, training managers, resolving issues and leading through times of transition. You will influence our business leaders to build amazing teams through a compassionate and consultative approach. You’ll be able to try new things, lead projects you feel passionate about, and create sustainable change.
Serve as a trusted advisor to all levels of management in dedicated functional areas
Provide frontline manager coaching & thought partnership on topics ranging from performance management to employee development
Identify opportunities for, develop, and implement learning and development initiatives with a focus on manager skill development
Support HR processes such as performance management cycle, employee relations, employee engagement, and other HR programs
Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quoras “coordination hours (MonFri: 9am3pm Pacific Time)
4+ years of relevant, professional experience working with technical talent
1+ year of experience driving learning and development initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
Startup experience
