Job Role: Architectural Technician Draftsperson (004 00174)

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Compensation range: 1500 1800 AUD Month (Depends on the client assessment)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement; FullTime; Remote

The client is a small designled awardwinning architecture practice based in Australia, focusing on creating thoughtful, atmospheric, and wellcrafted residential and small commercial projects.

Role Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a talented Architectural TechnicianDraftsperson to join a small, designdriven architecture studio. You’ll play a key role in translating creative concepts into accurate, detailed documentation using Revit. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a thoughtful, collaborative team on projects shaped by light, material, and context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed construction documentation using Revit, including:
• 1. General arrangement plans (1:50)
  3. Sections (1:20)
  5. Elevations (1:100)
  7. Construction details (1:51:10)
  9. Door & window schedules, FF&E schedules
  10. • Work with supplied Revit templates and follow established documentation styles
      • Interpret markups, redlines, and verbal directions effectively
      • Communicate and collaborate with a small team in a remote environment
      • Manage your own time efficiently to meet deadlines
      • Support the team with proactive input and a collaborative attitude

      • Requirements

        • Proven proficiency in Revit, with fast and accurate draftingdocumentation skills
        • Solid experience in preparing construction documentation across multiple drawing types and scales
        • Strong understanding of Australian construction standards and documentation formats (having this is a big plus!)
        • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to drafting
        • Selfmotivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
        • Strong communication skills and willingness to contribute ideas
        • • A portfolio of relevant documentation work is required
