Job description

At Serve Robotics, we’re reimagining how things move in cities. Our personable sidewalk robot is our vision for the future. It’s designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses.

The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity.

Who We Are

We are tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design who are pooling our skills to build the future we want to live in. We are solving realworld problems leveraging robotics, machine learning and computer vision, among other disciplines, with a mindful eye towards the endtoend user experience. Our team is agile, diverse, and driven. We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.

Serve Robotics is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of operations training programs for our team that executes last mile robot delivery operations in major US markets. This role is pivotal in ensuring our frontline operators, field technicians, and support staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver safe, efficient, and highquality service with our robotic delivery fleet.

As Training Manager, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Safety, Engineering, and People teams to standardize processes, maintain compliance, and build a scalable training framework that supports company growth. We’re looking for a proven leader with strong operational instincts, a bias for action, and the ability to inspire and develop a frontline team while making datainformed decisions in a highgrowth, fastmoving environment. This leader will be pivotal in building and executing a training program that allows for fast onboarding and scaling for a fast growing publicly traded start up.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage training programs focused on operational excellence, safety, and compliance for all levels of operations staff.

      • Develop onboarding curricula for new hires, as well as refresher and upskilling programs for existing employees.

      • Incorporate handson, classroom, and digital learning methods to meet diverse training needs.

        • Process Standardization & Documentation

          • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training manuals for operational workflows.

              • Ensure training aligns with evolving robotics technology, delivery protocols, and regulatory requirements.

              • Ensure required safety training is implemented and tracked to align with region specific safety training requirements.

                • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

                  • Monitor and assess training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and field audits.
