1. Project / Department and Scope of Work

The role involves the design, development, integration, and testing of cross-service and complex IT solutions in accordance with established service design guidelines. The Senior IT Architect will also provide IT architecture consulting to relevant departments and customers with regard to applications and IT technologies. Furthermore, the role ensures compliance with applicable IT security policies and data protection requirements.

2. Responsibilities

The position covers the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Analyze business problems and requirements, and independently develop strategies and solutions.
• Create solution concepts and present results to business units and stakeholders.
• Work independently with a structured, service-oriented, and solution-focused approach.
• Plan, manage, monitor, and continuously improve all testing activities within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure timely planning and coordination of release tests in line with release schedules.
• Adapt and further develop testing concepts for SharePoint applications and platform components, with a focus on test automation.
• Manage stakeholders and report on test results and test risks, including proposals for risk mitigation.
• Execute and support service lifecycle processes (e.g., change, release, and test management).
• Prepare and maintain service documentation, checklists, and related materials.

3. Qualifications

Languages

• German: C1 (CEFR)
• English: B1 (CEFR)

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation (e.g., ITIL Foundation v3 or higher)
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level v4

Education

• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field or a recognized IT vocational qualification.
• Alternatively: minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT.

4. Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of practical experience with Microsoft SharePoint On-Premise technologies in environments with 10,000+ users.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in SharePoint Enterprise and multi-farm environments with 10,000+ users.
• At least 5 years of experience managing test processes for applications within release management frameworks.
• At least 3 years of experience assessing the quality of complex testing projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation for applications.
• At least 2 years of experience working with JIRA and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

5. Soft Skills
