Main Purpose of the Role

We are looking for translators with experience in English into Norwegian Patent Translators (nativelevel fluency of languages specified) with immediate availability for a patent translation project in the fields of biology and mechanics.

Main Duties
Translate patentrelated content from English into Norwegian, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. The Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client;
Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc.
Communicate effectively and response promptly in English.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Native fluency in Norwegian
Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 years’ experience in the translation andor editing of patent documents.
Proficiency use of CAT tools, especially with XTM
Attention to detail
Good availability and quick response times
Selected candidates will be invited to complete an the translation test. Approved linguists will be then included in our pool of external partners and professional details will be made available to our global Production teams.
