About the Role

Were looking for an engineer to lead the development and evolution of our internal tools that are critical to teams across Engineering, Support, Implementation, and Customer Success. These applications help us reduce timetoinstall and bring sites and cameras online more efficiently, directly impacting our operational efficiency and expansion velocity.

Youll own these internal applications by treating them as products and collaborating across teams to identify and build whats needed next. Your work will be essential to streamlining our processes and accelerating our growth.

What Youll Do

• Lead the design, build, and operation of internal tools used daily across the company, including our Camera Calibration App, QA tools, and Siteuser management systems.

• Build robust SSO workflows and user provisioning systems that streamline customer onboarding and reduce timetoinstall

• Partner with Support to identify bottlenecks and build solutions that enable selfservice and reduce ticket volume

• Collaborate with Platform team on deployment tools and Computer Vision team to integrate CV features into operational workflows

• Design and implement APIs that connect our various systems, creating a seamless experience for internal users

• Gather feedback from users across teams, prioritize features, and ship iterative improvements weekly

• What Youll Need

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Familiarity with cloud services and serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda).

  • Product mindset: you enjoy talking to users, understanding their workflows, and shipping pragmatic solutions

  • Selfdirection: ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute independently

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively across technical and nontechnical teams

  • Nice to Have

    • Frontend experience with React or Vue.js
