Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Role Intro:

OMS is the strategic DB output management platform that generates over 50 million documents per month. We transform the raw data coming from various areas of our Bank’s business and transform it into human readable formats, such as PDF or AFP.

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated solutions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the platform’s document generation and delivery processes. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust automation framework for GUI applications and backend services using industry-standard tools.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure accuracy and reliability of document workflows for file generation, validation, and delivery processes.
  • Perform manual API testing using Postman to validate business logic, data integrity, and error handling. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to identify and report bottlenecks in high-volume document delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Collaborate with development and business teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.

Skills:

  • Proficient in designing and implementing automation frameworks for GUI and API testing using tools like Selenium and Postman. Basic Java programming or similar is required.
  • Ability to write clear test plans, cases, and documentation.
  • Experienced in performance and load testing with JMeter or Gatling and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
