About the Role:
Cars Commerce is looking for a creative and motivated Communications Intern to support our communications team in amplifying our brand story across media and industry channels. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations, media outreach, content creation, and storytelling at a leading automotive technology company.
What You’ll Do:
Help develop and edit content for media, social media, and other channels.
Support media monitoring and tracking to help measure our external impact.
Assist in organizing and updating media lists, awards trackers, and event calendars.
Brainstorm and help create social media and short-form video content that highlights company news and brand milestones.
Research upcoming industry events and award opportunities.
Support the communications team with events and meetings, including prep materials, coverage, and recap.
Collaborate with internal teams to share external wins across employee engagement channels.
Who You Are:
A strong writer with a passion for storytelling
Curious and eager to learn about public relations and media strategy
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks
Comfortable using (or willing to learn) tools like Canva, Google Slides, and social media platforms
A self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with video editing or social media content creation
Interest in the automotive or tech industry
A knack for turning big ideas into bite-sized, engaging content
Required Skills
Great written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Presentation development skills, including PowerPoint/Google Slides
Experience using websites, video and digital media as communication channels
Creative thinker with a natural curiosity and problem-solving skills
Resourcefulness, creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm and passion for excellence
Required Experience
Must be a current student; Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, English or other Communications-related majors preferred.

Length of Internship: Fall 2025
Hours: 20-24 hours/week
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
