  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and process payments.
  • Assist in onboarding and prepare contracts for new employees.
  • Compile monthly financial reports and handle ad-hoc accounting tasks.

Job description

Position: Accounting Operations Administrator

Number of hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule: SGT

Tasks required:

  • Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

  • Monthly bank reconciliations

  • Process payments, enter data into the accounting system, bank account management, etc.

  • Workpass application

  • Liaise with statutory boards & suppliers when needed

  • Assist in onboarding process and preparation of contracts for new employees

  • Payroll tracking and leave administration

  • Process employee claims

  • Send invoices to clients

  • Preparation and filing of documents

  • Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial & personal data

  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

  • Compile and prepare monthly reports and summaries

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned



Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or any relevant role

  • Background in Accounting industry

  • Preferably has experience or background in Singapore Accounting and Taxation standards and laws

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles

  • Experience in managing simple accounts

  • Proficiency with accounting softwares (XERO, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Zoho, Sage Accounting Software, etc.)

  • Ability to provide great customer service

  • Experience in handling HR tasks is highly desirable

  • Should have an understanding of the clients business and needs

  • With experience in handling compliance and other general accounting tasks

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently perform with limited supervision
