We are now seeking an experienced and inspiring Senior Engineering Manager [gn] to lead our talented engineering team, shape our technical vision, and deliver exceptional results that support our ambitious goals.


As a Senior Engineering Manager, you are responsible for shaping and implementing the strategy around the development, growth, and organization of the Data Intelligence Platform engineering team. You work closely with the VP of Engineering, team leads, and PeopleHR teams to develop career frameworks, oversee talent development, design team structures, and ensure engineering operates smoothly and collaboratively across the organization.You will have direct responsibility under your management of a dozen engineers split amongst several teams.

Responsibilities
  • Organizational Strategy & Governance
  • Partner with the VP of Engineering to design, evolve, and scale the engineering organization, including defining roles, team structures (feature, enabling, and platform teams), responsibilities, and spans of control.
  • Track and analyze key organizational health metrics such as team ratios, structure efficiency, and overall capacity.
  • Contribute to the longterm vision for engineering excellence and technical leadership.

  • Process Design & Operational Excellence
  • Define, implement, and oversee engineeringwide processes, including onboarding, performance management, feedback cycles, and staffing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and other business functions to improve crossfunctional communication, collaboration, and alignment.
  • Ensure engineering solutions are aligned with technical architecture, design principles, and product requirements.

  • Talent Development & Career Growth
  • Develop and execute the engineering career growth framework, including clear career paths, seniority levels, skills matrices, and advancement criteria.
  • Identify highpotential engineers, lead succession planning efforts, and establish mentoring programs.
  • Oversee performance review cycles in partnership with team leads to ensure fairness, consistency, and actionable feedback.

  • Technical Community & Leadership Culture
  • Foster a vibrant engineering community through events, knowledgesharing sessions, and best practice exchanges.
  • Promote a consistent and inspiring managerial culture across the engineering leadership team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for engineers, providing guidance on operational matters and career development.
  • Support team leads in fulfilling their leadership responsibilities, including mentoring, feedback delivery, team engagement, and early detection of performance or engagement issues.

  • Technical & Leadership Background
  • Proven track record in technical management, engineering leadership, and software designarchitecture within technologydriven organizations.
  • 7–10 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a SaaS product company, with a strong understanding of product development lifecycles.
  • Experience in a scaleup environment, driving growth and operational excellence in fastchanging contexts.
  • Indepth knowledge of engineering career development, talent management, and team growth strategies.
  • Strong grasp of organizational design and scaling best practices (e.g., Team Topologies).
