  • 6 to 10 years of experience in software build engineering, release, and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded Linux build environments, including Yocto and Buildroot.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Perl and experience with Linux OS hardening and kernel tuning.

Requirements:

  • Configure, deploy, and build Linux-based OS images using industry-standard tools.
  • Manage build environments and automate build processes with scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Test and validate Linux images, ensuring performance and security standards.
  • Document installation procedures and support system integration activities.

Hi to all Tech Enthusiasts out there , We are hiring for a reputed IT client of ours for the below positions :
Linux Build System Engineer
Notice Period : Immediate Joiners or Max 60 Days.
Job Location : Bangalore
Experience : 6 to 10 Years
We are Looking in Support we Don’t want any Developer.
Technical Skills : Configuration, Deployment, Linux Integration, Linux Build , Yocto, Build root

Technical Skills
• Embedded Linux build environment development, build root, Yocto, Cmake, custom Makefiles, Dockers, CC++ Knowledge
Should have
• Excellent knowledge of build tools such as yocto, buildroot, Makefile, etc.
• Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Perl, or similar scripting languages
• Hands on experience in building Linux based OS images using industry standard build tools and testing based on standard test framework
• Excellent knowledge about user administration and file system management activities
• Experience in Linux OS Hardening, performance, kernel tuning.
• Experience with standard software development toolsCI CD pipelines such as Git, Subversion
• Experience with Docker containerized environments
• Knowledge of Linux commands
• Experience in configuration, build, deployment, and release management are a must
• Prepared installation guide documentation
Qualifications
• Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience: 610+ years of experience in software build engineering, release & deployment. about company
