United Veterinary Care is seeking a People Systems Analyst that will be responsible for administering, supporting, and maintaining the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) inclusive of payroll, benefits, and other key HR (People) modules. This position plays a key role in administering, maintaining, reporting, auditing, and analyzing the organization’s human capital management platform (HCM). This role is primarily remote, with an expectation of less than 10% travel for meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide production support for the HCM platform within various areas including, but not limited to; workforce management, payroll, time tracking, scheduling, benefits and recruiting.
Manage system updates: Responsible for system upgrades and modifications including identifying requirements, configuration, testing and implementation.
Design, develop, evaluate, and maintain company HRIS and user security policy.
Determines technical and process workflow solutions that both satisfy the business user and confirm technical architecture.
Provides Root cause analysis, problem solving and decision making to resolve systems issues.
Creates auditing procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
Project manager for all HR system implementations and upgrades
Translates end user business needs to design, configuration, documentation, and test solutions.
Partners and liaisons with multiple organizational functions including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Recruitment and Operations to optimize functionality of HRIS.
Educates end users on system capabilities and continuously seeks enhancements to support evolving business needs.
Support user training and support in conjunction with the People/Payroll teams
Serves as the HR systems lead for all M&A and integration activity.
Ensures process documentation is accurate and up to date.
Ensure the creation and upkeep of a simplified HRIS user guide for managers and administrators.
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Provide guidance for HRIS best practices.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
5+ years' experience in systems/data analysis, Ceridian/Dayforce preferred.
Experience with data file transfers and imports.
Project management experience preferred.
Experience with multi-site organizations required.
Experience in start-up environments with high growth and M&A preferred.
Physical Requirements
Remote position with less than 10% travel.
Frequent work at a computer for 90-100% of the time.
Frequent to moderate noise level in the work environment.
Frequent ability to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form to solve problems involving several variables.
