Job description

Summary: Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company, Inc. is looking for a goaloriented selfstarting Industrial Sales Representative. We work to be an essential partner with the operators of professional laundries. The perspective candidate will be responsible for equipment sales in South Texas, preferably located in the HoustonSan AntonioAustin Triangle.

Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer

Must reside within defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a defined geographic sales territory through effective planning, outreach, and relationshipbuilding
  • Acquire new customers and develop longterm relationships with existing accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market share and revenue growth
  • Deliver consultative, solutionbased sales presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Create proposals and manage projects through the full sales cycle — from initial contact to order entry and postsale support
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the full product catalog and effectively communicate features, benefits, and ROI
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a trusted resource to clients, understanding their business challenges and providing actionable solutions

    • Required Qualifications:

      • Selfmotivated with a demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets
      • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
      • Proven ability to manage time, territory, and priorities independently
      • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

        • Preferred Experience & Attributes:

          • Background in industrial, capital equipment, or B2B solutionbased selling
          • Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple decisionmakers
          • Demonstrated success in selling complex or premium offerings with value beyond price
          • Ability to build strategic customer relationships and navigate sophisticated purchasing processes
          • Business acumen to understand client operations, pain points, and ROI metrics
          • Comfortable with territory development, lead generation, and segmentation strategy
          • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and adaptability to various customer styles
          • Familiarity with CRM platforms and a datadriven approach to pipeline management
          • Experience working under performance metrics, quotas, and revenue accountability
