The Role: Head of Business Development
The Head of Business Development will spearhead strategic growth initiatives by identifying new markets, forging key partnerships, and scaling revenue opportunities. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, ideally within digital health or health tech, who can balance strategy and execution while navigating a fast-moving landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational mission and growth goals

  • Lead market research, competitor analysis, and industry monitoring to identify emerging opportunities

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships and funding collaborations across healthcare providers, payers, governments, and investors

  • Manage the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from pipeline generation to deal closure, including proposals and contracts

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team with a growth-driven culture

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align growth strategies

  • Establish and track KPIs such as revenue pipeline, conversion rates, and partner engagement

  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to guide organizational decisions

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)

  • 8-10 years experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in digital health or health tech

  • Demonstrated success in scaling revenue and developing high-impact partnerships

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and execution focus

  • Agile, adaptable, and motivated by driving impact in a mission-led organization
