About You
We are looking for an outstanding SeniorStaffLead RailsTypescript Engineer who wants to play a core role in building our core applications platform.
Note: This fullstack role will be 40% FE (Typescript) and 60% BE (Ruby on Rails)
Example Responsibilities:
Endtoend Feature development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of frontendbackend services.
Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling realtime capabilities across our platform.
Building Front End Components: Building pixelperfect frontend components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating userfocused applications and interfaces.
Performance Optimization: Identify, assess, and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. ie looking for ways to make the product better!
Qualifications:
6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript)
Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development
Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
Write test suites and deploy using our CICD pipeline
Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
