About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with a history of building scalable data engineering solutions and the infrastructure to support them in meeting the demands of our growing client base. In this role, you will guide our data engineering strategy, make architectural decisions, and build pipelines to extract customer data.

• Collaborate with OA’s Director of Technology to define and implement the longterm strategy for the data engineering department.

• Drive technology, platform, and architectural decisions to optimize ETL pipelines for performance, resilience, and transparency.

• Develop and maintain Pythonbased data engineering solutions with a strong understanding of DevOps principles.

• Own and manage the process of moving customer data into the company’s data warehouse.

• Establish internal processes, standards, and guidelines to guide the department’s direction.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data engineering systems.

• Proactively identify areas for improvement in data infrastructure and workflow efficiency.
