Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux VDI systems based on VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and RHEV.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, and Windows Desktop configurations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.

Requirements:

  • Manage and optimize VDI environments on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Automate application deployment and system configurations using scripting and infrastructure as code tools.
  • Maintain and support hardware infrastructure including HPE and NetApp storage.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver IT solutions.

Required skillset:

• Excellent Knowledge on Windows and Linux VDI’s based on VMwareHyperV, Citrix and RHEV manager

• Windows server 2008, 2012 and Windows Desktop configuration

• Experience in Windows VDI configuration

• Experience in HPE and Netapp hardware

• Excellent knowledge on end to end automation with Puppet on application install and roll out

• Experience with virtual imaging, packaging and automated software distribution tools

• Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and Bamboo and Nexus

• Scripting languages: different Shell languages e.g. PowerShell, bash, Python

• Infra automation i.e. Infra as code skills like Ansible, Terraform and Puppet

• Software Configuration Management

• Experience in MS Build or Maven

• Experience in AgileScrum way of working
