Position Description

As the Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for researching market trends and opportunities, developing business and marketing plans, and meeting with potential and existing partners or clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

A. Business Development

  • Initiate, followthrough, and close deals with enterprise partners.
  • Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Craft campaigns that drive growth in user base, revenue, and partnerships network.
  • Drive awareness through creative social media presence, partnerships, publicity.
  • Drive revenue growth through special promotions & bundles, partnerships, and introduction of new products.
  • Surface opportunities to onboard new products to fill gaps in the underserved segments of the market.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, and crossfunctionally with technology, supply chain, and marketing department to successfully implement the product and platform strategy.
    • B. Commercial Analytics

      • Keep tabs on the ecommerce platform.
      • Monitor analytics (SKU performance, campaign response, social media reactions, etc)
      • Generate and synthesize insights from quantitative and qualitative data to assess the relevance of the products we offer to our market and identify core products to increase sales.
      • Curate product offers, bundles, and promotions that would achieve revenue growth targets.
        • Qualifications

          Musthave Qualifications

          • 25 years of postundergraduate work experience, preferably in: consumer or enterprise technology, ecommerce, consulting, business management or administration, finance, marketing, or related fields.
          • Exceptional negotiation and decisionmaking skills.
          • Effective communication skills
          • Strong business acumen.
          • Detailoriented.
          • Analytical problem solver: ability to generate and synthesize insights from quantitative and qualitative data; ability to prioritize insights and translate into product offers and practical solutions to customer needs.
            • Nicetohave Qualifications

              • Experience in or passion for the food or agriculture industry
              • Experience in an online marketplace or similar consumer technology company
              • Experience in strategy or productrelated roles

                  Working Conditions

                  • Status: Employee
                  • Employment terms: Fulltime, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
                  • Schedule: 8am5pm, Monday to Friday
