How youll get to contribute:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the schedulingestimating aspects of our transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and transit systems across New Jersey and New York. The SchedulerEstimator will be instrumental in developing, analyzing, and maintaining various project schedules, ensuring timely and costeffective project delivery. This role could also be responsible for preparing constructionengineering cost estimates on various sized projects. Limited travel may be required for this role.

    • What youll get to do:


      • Schedule Development and Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive design andor construction schedules for various projects using Primavera P6 software. These schedules will include all phases from design to completion.

      • Contractor Schedule Review: Analyze and review contractorprovided schedules for feasibility, risk, conflicts, and delays. Provide feedback and recommendations for schedule improvements.

      • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor project progress against the schedule. Identify any deviations and suggest corrective actions to keep projects on track.

      • Collaboration with Project Teams: Coordinate with project team members, engineers, and contractors to ensure that schedules accurately reflect the scope of work and project timelines.

      • Schedule Integration: Integrate multiple project schedules into a comprehensive program schedule to provide a holistic view of all ongoing projects.

      • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed schedule reports, including critical path analysis, progress updates, and forecasts.
      • Cost Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for ongoing engineering and construction projects at the direction of the Project Controls Director.

        • Who you are:

          • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

          • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.

          • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.
          • Minimum of 35 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in transportation infrastructure projects.
          • Knowledge of cost estimating best practices.

          • Knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.

          • Experience working on highway, bridge, and transit projects.

          • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

          • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
          • Ability to manage multiple project assignments.

          • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

          • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
          • AACE International or PMI certifications (i.e. PSP, PMISP, PMP, etc.) preferred.
