Job description

We are looking for an Business Unit Head for a 0 to 1 stealth startup. This is a oneofitskind Business Leadership role that directly reports to a popular startup leader.

Job profile:
In a nutshell identifying + validating + operationalizing + scaling the business vision
As a Business Unit Head, you’ll work closely with the core team, customers, and service ops team to build and own a new Business Unit that will focus on delivering a digital service to small and medium enterprises in mature markets, in one of the identified focus areas.
You will conduct deep data driven research to identify & discover new opportunities, plan, build a team and turn that opportunity into a highly scalable business unit.
Role will majorly involve market discovery, identifying opportunities, talking to customers, validating the problem statement, finding out insights, bringing it back to the core team.
BU Heads will work closely with the operations team to build subject matter processes from ground up.
Discover opportunities where new business can be built in the space of Digital Outsourcing
Work closely with early customers to ideatebuildvalidate to find product market fit
Work with operations team to productize & design the service delivery process
Build and design the GTM strategy and own the demand generation
Own hiring across all key functions as the Business Unit scales
Build and own the business & financial model

Requirement:
Must have a People first mentality (This is not a SaaS product, Service & People comes first)
38 years of overall experience
ExEntrepreneurs or raw smart, generalists who have entrepreneurial aspirations
People with relevant experience, who want to be entrepreneurs but don’t want to take the risk, who want to work @ market salaries but with full independence
Background of founding team, somebody who worked on the GTM strategy, either in a startup or even in a consulting business (Deloitte, EY, Pwc etc) can be considered.
People who have worked with customers of Big4, BCG, McKinsey to identify new market opportunities. (Candidates with purely BD background are not suitable)
A selfstarter and can get things done by going into depth across multiple business functions
