This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Executive to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization that values innovation and client success.

Job Overview

The core role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for the firm’s accounting, bookkeeping, and financial services. This role involves market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and sales strategy execution to support the firms growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets, including SMEs, startups, and established corporations.
  • Promote and position the accounting and bookkeeping services to potential clients through various channels (cold calling, networking, online outreach, etc.).
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitor analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong, longterm relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings to understand needs and present tailored service solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, software development, operations) to ensure client satisfaction and successful onboarding.
  • Prepare proposals, service agreements, and coordinate pricing discussions.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and conversion metrics.
      • Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and financial trends to enhance consultative sales conversations.
        • Requirements

          • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
          • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the financial services, accounting, or professional services industry.
          • Experience in B2B sales is much preferred than B2C.
          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
          • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
          • Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and meet revenue targets.
          • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service orientation.
          • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
          • Someone persuasive and a problem solver who is great with negotiations.
            • Advantageous:

              • Experience working with SMEs or startups
                  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping concepts
                  • Familiarity in CRM
                  • Someone with background handling North American clients
                  • Existing network of contacts in relevant industries
