Job Description Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer develops, maintains, and generates CMM programs used to inspect and verify production materials and components. Reviews blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices

Aerospace QMS systems

Ability to communicate technical and complex material to multiple audiences
Aircraft industry requirements
Basic calibration system and quality audit experience

Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare CMM programs as required to CAD data and or prints for component parts and assemblies
Performs first off, inprocess & endofrun report
Performs ballooning of customer printsdrawings
Performs layout of checking fixtures
Performs any other layout according to the layout request, issues reports
Reviews layout with responsible product and quality engineer
Prepares data for the PPAP submission as requested
Performs gauge studies, GR & R’s (attribute and variables)
Monitor gauge control software, ensure gauges are calibratedverified as per schedule & gauge control procedures
Participate and assist in problem solving & analysis
