Backend Developer
Experience 4 to 6
Location Mumbai, Kolkata, Remote

Job Description

Scope of work •Development, deployment and testing of backend

servicescomponents
•Monitoring of alerts, errors and logs
•Analyzing the outage information of systemservices and identifying
root cause, identifying the solution
•Perform unit testing of the components developed
•Effective tracking and closure of assign ticketsdefects
•Identifying performance issues if any in the developed
componentssystems
•Interacting with the overseas clients in scrum ceremonies, requirement
discussion, other calls

Responsibility •Be part of a global distributed team that designs, implement, test and

deploy SEO based componentstools
•Be an excellent problem solver and willing to roll up sleeves to tackle
any issue thrown on the way
•Creating documentation, runbooks, monitoring and alerting
documents, unit tests

C) Skills Required
Essential Skills Proficiency in the following technologies:

Mandatory skill:
Proficient on Ruby, Java , MapReduce, EMR,HIVE, Hadoop
Additional skills:
Unix (Good knowledge in Unix Command to monitor the process, status
and memory, knowledge of shell scripts)
AWS – Concept of S3, EC2, SNS, Datadog, VPC
Database – Elastic Search, HDFS, HIBS, Redis, Document DB
Scripting Language – Python
ECS and Dockers deployment
Experience in full life cycle of software development (SDLC)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

Desired Skills •Experience working remotely with a distributed global team

•Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Slack
