The Group Functions Tax & Customs Department is dedicated to handling all groupwide tax & customs compliance requirements and renders – as a valued business partner – professional tax & customs services to Continental’s operating business. We are seeking a dedicated LowCode & IT enthusiast to join the team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and digitalization technologies.

Job Description

As Digitalization Manager (mfd), you will be responsible for identifying digitalization opportunities to enhance synergies and increase operational efficiency. This role involves developing new digitalization solutions using lowcode platforms and conducting indepth analyses of complex business data, including ERP data, customs data, and external data sources.

    • Responsibilities:

      • Develop digital solutions using lowcode and nocode platforms, particularly Mendix and PowerApps.
      • Identify digitalization opportunities to create synergies and enhance operational efficiency.
      • Conduct indepth analyses of business data by applying extract, transform, and load processes using Continental’s data lake, as well as other internal and external sources such as ERP systems.
      • Design concepts, initiate, and lead national and international digitalization projects.
      • Optimize processes by documenting current and target states, analyzing workflows, and identifying digitalization opportunities.
      • Support change management activities toward a digital tax and customs organization.
        • Qualifications
          • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field (Bachelor or Master).
          • Solid experience with lowcodenocode platforms such as Mendix or PowerApps.
          • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as KNIME or Power BI.
          • Programming skills in Python, R, andor SQL are a plus.
          • Experience in analyzing ERP data is advantageous.
          • Initial professional experience in IT or finance functions is desirable, ideally in a role bridging business and IT.
          • Basic knowledge or project experience in tax and customs law is beneficial, ideally with initial experience as a project manager.
          • Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
          • Willingness and ability to work in an international environment.
          • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
          • High level of commitment and assertiveness.
          • Customer orientation and stakeholder management capabilities.
          • Teamoriented working style.

              Additional Information

              You work 37.5 hours per week. We offer 30 days of vacation per year.
