The Accounting Manager who will focus on process improvement, client troubleshooting, and team development. This is not a transactional APAR role. Instead, the ideal candidate will be a proactive problemsolver, a strong communicator, and a mentor with a clientfirst mindset.
Musthave Skills Qualification:
Minimum of 3+ years handson Accounting Manager experience required (more is better).
Proven experience managing multiple client accounts in a similar accountingfinance role.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Open to candidates with QuickBooks experience even if not certified.
IFRS experience (e.g., AUUK) is acceptable in lieu of U.S. GAAP.
CPA or MBA not mandatory if the candidate has strong relevant experience.
Experience mentoring or managing team members with a nonhierarchical, learningfocused leadership style.
Comfort with ambiguity, ad hoc tasks, and process refinement.

QuickBooks Online (Core platform for accounting)
Bill.com and Expensify (for payments and expense management)
Zenefits (HR data and analytics)
Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams (for collaboration and reporting)
Flowcast with NetSuite (for select clients)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily client emails — respond promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ensure all bookkeeping is accurate and compliant with client requirements.
Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthend close.
Prepare and review financial statements with variance analysis.
Conduct job costing analysis and review findings.
Perform internal audits and recommend solutions.
Manage and complete clientspecific projects.
Act as a trusted financial partner for multiple clients by understanding their business models, vendors, and risk factors.
Lead and optimize accounting workflows to improve reporting accuracy and enhance the client experience.
Audit and mentor Philippinebased contractors.
Contribute to ad hoc, crossfunctional projects, particularly those involving process improvements beyond finance.
Shadow the CEO during the initial 2month onboarding period and maintain daily collaboration thereafter.
