Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find costeffective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with associates to review and place orders to maintain continuity of supply across 4DS’ network
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• • Examine and test existing contracts
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control spend and build a culture of longterm saving on procurement costs
  • Work crossfunctionally with the Operations team to expand defect tracking and chargeback processes
  • Work closely with the warehouse team on process improvement and maintaining accuracy of our purchasing data
  • Investigate, initiate and keep track of chargebacks or reimbursement claims with vendors and marketplaces.
  • Problemsolve potential procurement issues and create solutions through root cause analysis
  • Lead daytoday communication with suppliers (both domestic and international)
  • Create and maintain procurement models to forecast buying needs
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with current and potential suppliers for cost effective solutions

  • Qualifications

    Skills

    • 35+ years of professional experience working in global supply chain, procurement, or operations
    • • Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
      • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
      • Talent in negotiations and networking
      • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
      • Aptitude in decisionmaking and working with numbers
      • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
      • Strong leadership capabilities, project management and detail orientation
      • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
      • Comfort working in a fastpaced growth environment with competing priorities
      • • English and Basic Mandarin Chinese Preferred
