Job description

We’re seeking a highly reliable and detailfocused Production Designer to support the layout, composition, and production of books, games, and gift products. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on precision and takes pride in clean, printready files.

You’ll work on a variety of creative projects across categories, applying final layouts and prepping assets for print. If you love tight specs, efficient processes, and working collaboratively with editorial and project teams, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Apply final layouts, text styling, and formatting to interior book files using InDesign
  • Prepare printready files for books, packaging, and other physical products
  • Execute corrections, reprints, and edition updates across various formats
  • Apply barcodes, pricing, and back cover adjustments as needed
  • Ensure all files meet printer specifications and pass internal preflight checks
  • Collaborate with editorial and project management teams to stay aligned on production timelines
    • Requirements

      • 3+ years of experience in production design or print layout for longform documents (publishing preferred)
      • Advanced Adobe InDesign skills, including styles, master pages, and typesetting
      • Strong understanding of prepress workflows and working with printer specs
      • Familiarity with various print formats (paperback, hardcover, packaging)
      • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple titles simultaneously
