Roles & Responsibilities

  • 1 to 10 years of experience in network protocol and system testing.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and others.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like IXIA, Spirent, XENA, and scripting languages like Perl and Python.

Requirements:

  • Write and execute test plans to validate network protocols and features.
  • Design testbeds and create scenarios to test product functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Report defects, validate fixes, and participate in troubleshooting to identify root causes.
  • Automate testing processes and assist developers during unit and integration testing.

Product Quality Engineer,L2,L3 protocol testing and networking
Location: Bangalore(WFO) Walk in interview
EXp: 1 to 10 Years

Experience
• 1 to 10 years of experience in network protocol and system testing
• Freshers with protocol testing coursecertification
Skills
• Expertise in writing test plans and testing of networkingproducts.
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following:
• EthernetE1T1STM, PPP, TCPIP, IPv4, IPv6, NATPT, MPLS, RSVP, RIP, OSPF,
BGP, RSTPMSTP, LACP, IGMP, PIM, QoS, NMSEMS, RADIUS, NTP, PTP,
VXLAN, VTP, VPLS, VPN etc.
• Familiarity with SDN, NFV, Virtualization, Cloud computing.
• Experience with IXIASpirentXENA and any Opensource tools.
• Experience with scripting languages like Perl and Python.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
• Write test plans to validate protocols and featureimplementations.
• Design and create testbeds, create scenarios to validate functionality,
performance, stability, and scalability of products.
• Execute test plans, test cases to verify all aspects of the product. Report defects
and validate fixes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues to drive towards root cause
identification.
• Use every means possible to find the defects in the software and hardware
being developed.
• Work as an agile member of a test team, running in short cycles to develop
functional software tools in quick iterations. Help drive software development
best practices from technology selectionand workflow to coding standards
• Automate test plans, test cases wherever possible. Buildscript new tools for
performing testingvalidation.
• Help developers during unit and integration testing.

Education
• BE BTech or higher
