Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of Python-based automation test scripts.
  • Design and implement test plans, reports, and environments for automation testing.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely defect tracking and bug fixes.
  • Explore and integrate new automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing processes.

Job description

Python automation lead JD:
Technical expertise:
  • Should’ve be very strong in python Programming language( not less than 3 years)
  • Should have good expertise in API Automation.
  • Should have worked in Agile environment with Tool’s exposure such as Jira, TestRailTestLink is must.
  • Should be proficient in security, solution & database testing.
  • Should have good expertise in Linux OS.
  • Should have good exposure to Android automation testing (Native and Hybrid client testing).
  • Should have good expertise on CICD or CIATS setup (Jenkins, Bamboo, or another similar tool).
  • Must have expertise in BDD Framework Automation, UnitTest Framework, PyTest Framework, Robot Framework
  • Should have Practical exposure to Web Automation testing using Selenium Webdriver, python , Robot framework.
  • Must have experience in using tools such as SeleniumWeb driver, Appium, and Jenkins.
  • Exploring popular automation tools, bringing new innovative ideas and integrate to build a test automation system.
  • Knowledge on Cloud services such as AWSGCPAzure is plus
  • Knowledge on Load and performance Automation tools such as JMeter or Locust is plus.
    • Functional Competency:
      • Communicate and guide clearly to team to achieve team and project goals.
      • Should have expertise in Test Plan, Test Report and Test development.
      • Should have good expertise in BDD and Hybrid Automation framework
      • Responsible for the setup of Test environments and execution of tests.
      • Responsible for defect tracking and monitoring on time delivery of bug fixes.
      • Quick learner and result oriented with strong analyticalproblem solving skills.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills.
      • Developer who is capable of designing, developing, and maintaining the pythonbased automation test scripts and libraries
