Role and Responsibilities:
This position requires a candidate who can analyze and understand business and technical stories, write code, implement automated tests, contribute to release and iteration planning, and develop the working practices of the team. The candidate would also be required to capture detailed technical requirements based on business requirements and resolve highpriority defects along with deploying fixes to production systems. Additionally, performing insightful and constructive code reviews to help maintain and teach proper coding techniques, and ensure that fellow developers are considering all pertinent factors to prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code. Also, contribute widely to establishing and promoting the best SDLC practices and actively investigate and propose new technologies for use within the department.
Candidate Qualifications:
The candidate should be highly experienced in developing new userfacing features using React.js. They should be an expert in HTML5, CSS, and Javascript while possessing experience in application development as well. The candidate should be proficient in building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use, able to translate designs and wireframes into highquality code, as well as optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers. Above all, the candidate should be highly analytical, with strong problemsolving and synthesizing skills while being able to understand software development, including the full project lifecycle and working on multiple substantial projects using Agile development methodologies.
