Job description

Job Title: Senior Program Manager

Location: Virtual

The Senior Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects for government clients as well as drive profitability through effective P&L management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort, managing activities across multiple teams and locations.
      • Client Interaction: Serves as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
          • Project Oversight: Develops detailed monthly status reports, reviews project deliverables, and ensures adherence to quality standards.
              • Team Coordination: Directs efforts of crossfunctional teams, including contractors, to achieve project goals.
                  • Performance Monitoring: Tracks and reviews contractor performance, integrating tasks and managing conflicts.
                      • Resource Management: Manages project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
                          • P&L Management: Take ownership of program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
                              • Compliance: Ensure all programs comply with federal regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies.

                                  • Superior ability to oversee the integration and quality of contractor tasks and deliverables.
                                      • Expert at leading and guiding technical staff, ensuring project milestones are met.
                                          • Demonstrated background in analysis and coordination of project schedules, timelines, procurement, staffing, and budgets.
                                              • SME in P&L management and financial analysis of programs.
                                                  • Exceptional communication, problemsolving, and organizational skills.
                                                      • Strong decisionmaking and leadership capabilities.
                                                          • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
                                                              • Ability to supervise 40+ employees.
                                                                  • Proactive problem solver with a cando attitude.

                                                                          • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
