Administration and troubleshooting of all versions of Microsoft Windows Server OS

What You Will Do
Set up, configure, administer, and troubleshoot complex Windows environments, including clustering, high availability, and load balancing
Handle Active Directory administration, DNS, AD replication, and troubleshooting domainrelated issues
Troubleshoot issues related to technologies like IIS, Antivirus, Security, backup, and storage at the OS level
Manage and support virtual and physical servers (VMware)
Coordinate with vendors and required stakeholders to troubleshoot issues related to OS and hardware
Participate in and demonstrate recovery procedures during DR exercises
Document, review, and update manual operating procedures in Confluence
Automate daytoday jobs using scripting languages like Ansible, PowerShell, and Batch
Keep management up to date on any outstanding productionrelated issues
As a senior admin, drive projects through Jira and ensure that we have the updates from the team until closure
Help the team understand and absorb new technology and work with various teams and stakeholders to roll them out in a phased manner within the required timeline
Handson experience with the complete patch management lifecycle, including testing, deploying, troubleshooting missing patches and patch issues, utilizing the change management process and necessary patch management and automation tools.
Alignment with industrystandard security practices
Responsible for OS vulnerability mitigation and compliance remediation
Qualifications
Knowledge of ITIL best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing multiplatform Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Active Directory Domain Service, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, Batch script, Jira, and Confluence
Industrystandard certification for Windows Server technology (MCITP), VCP, and AWS
Desired experience in troubleshooting serverclass hardware, mainly with HP C7000 and C3000 Chassis, HP Blade systems, HP Synergy, etc.
Desired knowledge of Ansible
Ability to work in a complex, enterprise environment with multiple, global data centers, collaborating with network, application, and middleware teams.
Willingness to work in a 247 environment with rotational shifts
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with an Associates or bachelor’s degree
