Position Overview:
CECP seeks an intern to support the Strategic Engagement team in its annual efforts to renew, retain and more deeply engage corporate affiliates. The Strategic Engagement team utilizes engagement managers, Salesforce CRM and cross platform analytics to understand the needs and priorities of our nearly 200 affiliate companies. This internship will support our team to activate on that data and connect companies to the resources they find most valuable. The Strategic Engagement team also drives revenue for CECP by securing partners for sponsorships, consulting projects and research efforts. The intern will work with all team members but will report to the Associate Manager of Strategic Engagement.

Responsibilities:
The Strategic Engagement intern will:

Monitor news on CECP companies to identify issues or areas CECP can support
Support the Engagement team’s prep for calls and meetings by creating briefs as needed
Utilize LinkedIn to invite new and existing companies and contacts to connect with CECP and our team
Utilize LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to continuously update and refresh our contact database
Support Salesforce maintenance by creating and editing account and contact data
Support delivering analytics across the CECP team
Conduct user interface, user experience and AI research to support our “tech for engagement” strategy

This role is for you if you have:

Demonstrated experience in relationship management and/or business development
Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce preferred
Strong communication and writing skills, and ability to work independently
Classwork or an advanced degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, public policy, public administration or similar
A high degree of initiative, motivation, and commitment to excellence
Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP’s mission
