Position Overview

We’re seeking a datadriven, creative, and executionfocused B2C Email and Performance Marketing Manager to support our directtoconsumer growth and retention initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a key role in the strategy, development, and optimization of email and multichannel performance marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, platform participation, and revenue growth.


As a champion of our consumerfacing communications, you’ll craft impactful lifecycle marketing journeys and promotional campaigns that resonate across diverse audience segments—while upholding bestinclass deliverability and performance standards. This is a highly collaborative and handson role where you’ll work crossfunctionally within marketing, as well as Product, Data, and Client Success to deliver measurable results at scale.

Essential Skills & Responsibilities

  • Partner with department leadership to develop the strategy and execution of email, push, and performance marketing campaigns to drive user activation, retention, and conversion on the BenefitHub platform.
  • Manage the B2C email calendar, ensuring consistent and strategic communication cadence
  • Develop compelling email content that resonates with our consumer audience interests and supports business objectives
  • Lead email creative development, including copywriting, design, and content curation for assigned initiatives
  • Design, execute, and optimize audience acquisition email series focused on driving new user signups and platform adoption
  • Map and optimize email strategies across the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition to loyalty, including welcome, reengagement, winback and promotional campaigns
  • Implement sophisticated audience segmentation strategies to target specific cohorts with relevant messaging
  • Design and execute sophisticated email campaigns that drive engagement, revenue, and maximize LTV
  • Develop strategic remarketing campaigns based on user behavior and engagement patterns
  • Optimize email performance through AB testing, segmentation strategies, and personalization
  • Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, clickthrough rates, conversions) and optimize accordingly
  • Conduct comprehensive reporting and performance analysis to measure campaign effectiveness, audience trends and overall program performance
  • Regularly report on campaign performance to leadership and stakeholders, with actionable recommendations.
  • Track industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our email marketing effectiveness

  • Ensure email deliverability and maintain sender reputation across all campaigns
  • Create and maintain accessible email templates that conform to WCAG guidelines and are usable by all recipients, including those with disabilities
  • Stay current on email marketing regulations (CANSPAM, GDPR, etc.) and implement compliance measures

    • Qualifications

      • 5+ years of experience in B2C email marketing
      • Proven track record of developing datadriven email campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue
      • Experience with lifecycle marketing, behavioral remarketing, and triggerbased automation
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data, segment behavior, and translate insights into actionable strategies
      • Proficient in segmentation, cohort analysis, and advanced personalization strategies
      • Skilled in email creative development, including copywriting, design, and basic HTMLCSS for email
      • Knowledge of deliverability best practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
      • Familiarity with major email marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
      • Understanding of mobileresponsive email design and accessibility best practices
      • Solid grasp of email marketing regulations and compliance requirements
      • Strong written communication, project management, and organizational skills
      • Experience with AB testing, multivariate testing, and interpreting experiment results
      • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) and campaign attribution modeling
      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field preferred

          • Expertise in customer journey mapping and crosschannel marketing automation
          • Familiarity with CRM systems and data integration (e.g., Lytics, Salesforce)
          • Advanced knowledge of global email compliance and regulatory standards

          • Experience with dynamic content, personalization at scale, and predictive modeling
          • Understanding of campaign ROI measurement, attribution frameworks, and performance reporting
