We are seeking an Account Executive in our beauty & wellness group to drive sponsorship and participation opportunities for our hosted buyer events. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and strong sales acumen to build meaningful connections between suppliers and qualified buyers. 

This position is fully remote.

As our Account Executive, you will support Questex's success by:

  • Selling sponsorships and hosted buyer participation packages across assigned events and territories.
  • Developing and managing strong client relationships, from initial outreach through renewal.
  • Identifying new prospects through extensive market research and industry engagement.
  • Creating customized proposals that bundle opportunities to maximize client ROI.
  • Generating new business through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person meetings.
  • Representing Questex at industry events to prospect and build relationships.
  • Managing pipeline hygiene via Salesforce and other company-provided sales tools.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs.

What we will love about your background:

  • Experience selling conferences, sponsorships, & events, with knowledge of the hosted buyer model.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and connect suppliers with buyers in a meaningful way.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven track record as a savvy negotiator with the ability to close deals.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt to client needs.

Your experience and education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event sales (experience in hosted buyer programs or sponsorship sales strongly desired).

Our rewards / what we offer

This role offers a base salary of $52K–70K, with total earnings including commission ranging from $127K to $145K+. Commission is uncapped, so high performers can exceed OTE. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic, and organizational factors are also considered.
