Engineering Manager Feegow (100% remote friendly in Brazil)

Role

As an Engineering Manager in this group, you’ll be fully responsible and accountable for managing your team(s), ensuring predictable, highquality delivery with high operational standards. You’ll also actively partner with your Product counterparts and Staff Engineers to shape the direction of our area and the company as a whole. The role reports directly to the Engineering Director.

We are committed to continuous improvement, open feedback, and working efficiently towards our goals. This role provides an opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the area while receiving mentorship and support as needed.

Our tech stack at Docplanner Tech and Feegow includes .Net, PHP, and VueReactNative, running on Kubernetes in AWS. While expertise in these technologies isn’t required, this is a technical role, and a solid technical background is essential to effectively support the teams.

What you will be doing

• Lead and represent ~10 direct reports in total, organized in smaller multidisciplinary teams.

• Actively partner with your Product and Staff Engineer counterparts.

• Provide accountability for all the initiatives of your teams.

• Work closely with the technical leaders of the group and the area to develop an effective technical strategy.

• Act as a point of reference for our Leadership team and for the main Stakeholders of your teams.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching inside the team, through regular feedback and performance assessments.

  • Have a solid technical background related to the whole SDLC and can support and unblock your teams in complex technical discussions.

  • Have experience in modernizing and migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Comfortable communicating in written and verbal English across global teams.

  • Approach software development with a lean, proactive, and positive mindset, balancing impact and longterm sustainable development, with a strong accountability for delivering highquality solutions.

  • Previous experience in consulting is a plus.
