Digital Risk Advisor (Hybrid option)
Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Digital Risk Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for team inquiries from internal/external clients and regulators, gaining a broad overview of all cyber security-related governance and risk activities within Swiss Re. You will be recognised as the subject matter expert for our cyber processes and control environment. Using this knowledge, you will coordinate with stakeholders and handle requests. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy.
As a part of the Security Team, the Regulatory Monitoring team safeguards compliance with international cyber regulations and provides assurance to the various stakeholders. We're looking for a knowledgeable, proactive, and curious professional with 5+ years of experience in the field of IT, governance, SOC/ISAE3000 or regulations – one who learns quickly and can build and leverage relationships to succeed in their role.
In your role, you will…
Be the first point of contact for IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) inquiries from internal/external clients and regulators

Serve as a point of contact for external clients and regulators, ensuring compliance with international cyber regulations through a strong grasp of Swiss Re’s cyber security framework

Gain a broad overview of all cyber GRC activities within Swiss Re and provide information and assurance to various stakeholders

Become one of the most knowledgeable colleagues in understanding Swiss Re's cyber processes and control environment

Hold a crucial role to help Swiss Re to prove its compliance with international cyber regulations

Lead process and automation improvements across cyber governance and risk

Champion new technologies and methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our security operations

Your qualifications

What we need from you

Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of cyber security as an enabler of business performance

Experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or cyber security activities in complex corporate environments

The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from clients to various IT security teams and management

Degree or qualification in business IT-related subject area or equivalent technical and business experience

Knowledge of information security on a technical, organisational as well as security management level

Experience in working with IT regulations

A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure

Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills

Drive for innovation and creativity, as well as analytical thinking

You must demonstrate clear and articulate spoken English to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. Speech clarity will form part of the interview assessment

Knowledge of standards and reports such as ISO 27'00x/NIST SP 800-53/ISAE 3000/SOC 2
