Senior Consultant Technology Advisory and Project Management

As a Senior Consultant in Wavestones Technology and Transformation practice, you will serve as a trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of technologyfocused, projectdriven engagements. In this role you will play a key role in managing and delivering complex technological initiatives across organizations. Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to highimpact client engagements, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery. Engagements include:
  • Managing endtoend technology project delivery, including strategy, implementation, integration, and team coordination across functions.
  • Leading technology project delivery across strategy, implementation, and integration efforts – managing scope, timeline, and crossfunctional teams.
  • Supporting IT strategy and CIO advisory engagements, helping clients define technology roadmaps, governance models and transformation priorities.
  • Overseeing delivery of data, analytics, and AI initiatives, coordinating technical terms to implement scalable data platforms and insightsdriven solutions.
  • Managing software application projects, including custom development, system integration, and enterprise platform rollouts (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms).
  • • Drive project management activities: define scope, develop project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
    • Lead and motivate crossfunctional project teams, providing structure in ambiguous situations and guiding stakeholders through resistance and change.
    • Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations.
    • Apply expertise by monitoring and identifying project issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of work.
    • Confidently manage project teams, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, and implement the desired outcomes.
    • Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
    • Present findings both internally at Wavestone and externally to clients, including data acquisition and insights.
    • Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects.
    • Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and develop new business engagement opportunities.

    • Qualifications

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree in a variety of disciplines to include Business, Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
      • Master’s degree preferred.

      • Required Experience

        • 3+ years of consulting experience, preferably in a Big Four or similar environment, with a strong background managing technology projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and team leadership.
        • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
        • Welldeveloped financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and sales.
        • Passion for identifying problems and the desire to collaborate with clients in designing and implementing simple solutions in complex and unclear situations.
        • Leadership skills and the ability to manage crossfunctional project teams.
        • Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
        • Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
        • Confidence and presence to engage directly with clients at the senior leadership level.
        • Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly with both line and senior management level clients.
        • Ability to travel based on client requirements.

        • Preferred Experience

          • PMP or other formal project management certification.
