What is the role about?

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Extend Architect (Manager) to join our team and play a key leadership role in delivering innovative and scalable Workday Extend applications for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Workday professional to take ownership of endtoend application design and development while shaping the direction of key projects. Youll be at the forefront of cuttingedge Workday Extend solutions, ensuring our clients are maximising the full potential of their Workday investment.

As a Workday Extend Architect (Manager), you will lead a team of skilled consultants, guiding the development and successful deployment of tailored applications. You’ll engage directly with clients to capture and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, while mentoring junior team members and promoting best practices across projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and owning the endtoend development lifecycle of Workday Extend applications across one or more client projects

  • Designing application architecture in alignment with business needs and Workday best practices

  • Managing and mentoring a team of Workday Extend consultants, providing technical oversight and support

  • Working closely with clients to gather, understand, and document business requirements

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also commercially viable

  • Overseeing the implementation, deployment, and ongoing support of Extend applications

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support longterm success and client satisfaction

      As an Incubane consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of onsite and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.
