The Job

As a Junior Merchandise Planner, you will support the planning and analysis of product assortments to ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and in the right locations. You will work closely with internal teams to support forecasting, allocation, and inventory management. In this role, you will help drive sales and profitability through strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Your Mission

  • Monitor sales and stock performance, and support initiatives to improve sell-through and turnover;
  • Assist in forecasting, allocation planning, and replenishment of products based on key performance indicators and sales data;
  • Support the planning team in building the analytical foundation for assortment and stock decisions across retail and e-commerce;
  • Contribute to the development of merchandise plans in collaboration with relevant teams;
  • Help ensure a good level of communication and support to other departments;
  • Assist in preparing reports and insights for trade meetings and business reviews;
  • Support the execution of trading and promotional strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Your Talent

  • Degree in business studies or equivalent and distinctive analytical, planning and commercial skills;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2C Retail Merchandise Planning (ideally covering multiple channels);
  • Specific experience in planning and allocation environment is desirable;
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong experience in Excel (e.g., working with formulas, pivot tables);
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
  • Eager to learn, results-driven, and proactive in taking on new challenges;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Knowledge of allocation or forecasting tools, or the ECR concept, is a plus but not required.
  • Motorsports knowledge and interest would be an advantage.

This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
