We have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative - OEM

 

Position Overview:                                   

As a Technical Sales Representative - OEM, you bring advanced technical knowledge and practical experience in welding and thermal spray technologies, enabling you to provide high-value products and solutions tailored to the needs of OEM clients.

 

What You’ll Do:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new OEM customers.

  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to grow new and existing accounts.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with OEM customers and key stakeholders.

  • Provide technical guidance to help end-users reduce wear and equipment failure.

  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs.

  • Offer hands-on technical support and troubleshooting.

  • Understand, assess, and validate customer needs proactively.

  • Resolve customer issues and manage escalations quickly and effectively.

  • Negotiate deals and manage key account relationships.

  • Meet sales targets and support strategic growth goals.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics.

  • Travel to customer sites (50%–70%).

  • Contribute to the development of a Strategic Growth Plan aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.

  • Identify and communicate critical business issues, collaborating with internal teams to resolve them.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

  • Keep documentation updated in CRM and submit weekly expense reports.

  • Perform additional duties as required.
