Job Title: Associate Attorney Residential Portfolio Management
Location: Remote (Posting locations: Charlotte, NC & Columbia, SC)
Pay: $70,000 $90,000 annually
The Associate Attorney will manage Residential Portfolio Management matters for the firm, focusing on evictions, code enforcement, and small claims cases. This role is remote with court appearances as needed. The ideal candidate will bring 35 years of eviction-related legal experience and must be a licensed member in good standing of the North Carolina Bar (South Carolina Bar membership is highly preferred).
Prepare, review, and approve eviction-related pleadings.
Manage all aspects of eviction, code enforcement, and small claims cases, including contested matters.
Represent clients in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings.
Maintain regular client communication, providing updates and participating in meetings.
Identify and resolve legal issues promptly, ensuring exceptional client service.
Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to deadlines and compliance.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Juris Doctorate (JD).
35 years of experience with eviction-related pleadings.
Active membership in good standing with the North Carolina Bar Association.
Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and conscientious work ethic.
Analytical and detail-oriented.
Membership in good standing with both the North Carolina & South Carolina Bar Associations.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Base salary: $70,000 $90,000 annually
